DAY 1: FES TO IFRANE NATIONAL PARK AND CEDAR FORESTS – ZAIDA

We will start our journey by picking you up from your hotel in Fes. Our first stop will be Ifrane National Park, known for its beautiful landscapes and rich birdlife. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot a variety of species, including the endangered Barbary Macaque and the beautiful Levaillant’s Woodpecker. Next, we’ll explore the nearby Cedar Forests, where we’ll search for the impressive Atlas Mountain Range bird species such as the Barbary Falcon, Atlas Horned Lark, African Blue Tit, and more. We’ll spend the night in a cozy hotel with dinner in Zaida.

DAY 2 : FROM ZAIDA TO MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey towards Merzouga Desert. Along the way, we’ll make stops at several locations, including the stunning Ziz Gorges and Erfoud, famous for its fossils. Once we arrive in Merzouga, we’ll have a chance to relax and enjoy the unique beauty of the desert. In the evening, we’ll have a traditional Berber dinner and stay overnight in a desert camp, where you can gaze at the stars while listening to the sound of silence.

DAY3 : ERG CHEBBI DUNES – MERZOUGA

Today will be dedicated to exploring the Merzouga Desert, known for its stunning birdlife. We’ll visit several locations, including the Dayet Srji Salt Lake, which is home to a variety of bird species such as the Marbled Teal, White-headed Duck, Black-winged Stilt, and more. We’ll also visit the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we’ll search for the elusive Desert Warbler and other desert species. After a full day of birding, we’ll return to our desert camp for another night under the stars.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA BACK TO FES

On our final day, we’ll begin our journey back to Fes. Along the way, we’ll stop at several locations, including the scenic town of Rissani and the picturesque town of Azrou. We’ll arrive back in Fes in the evening, where our tour will come to an end. This itinerary is customizable based on your interests and preferences.
